About

About MSPGrade

MSPGrade was created to help small and medium-sized businesses make better decisions when selecting a Managed Service Provider or Managed Security Service Provider.

Finding the right technology partner can be difficult. Provider websites often make similar promises, service packages can be hard to compare, and anonymous public reviews may not provide enough context or confidence. MSPGrade provides a consistent, independently moderated review system based on authenticated business experiences and platform mystery shopping.

Mission

Our mission is to make MSP selection clearer, safer, and more transparent for small and medium-sized businesses.

What makes MSPGrade different

  • Reviews come only from authenticated businesses, clients, and MSPGrade mystery shoppers.
  • Every review uses the same ten-category scoring system.
  • Every review produces a score out of 100.
  • Every review is moderated before publication.
  • MSPs cannot publicly respond to reviews.
  • Providers cannot pay to improve ratings.
  • Legitimate negative reviews are not removed merely because a provider objects.
  • MSPGrade distinguishes between business reviews and mystery-shop reviews.
  • The identity and supporting evidence of reviewers are protected.

Editorial independence

MSPGrade may offer paid profiles, advertising, enhanced listings, or lead-generation services. Payment does not affect review scores, category scores, review approval, organic ranking, editorial conclusions, or mystery-shop findings.

Review moderation

MSPGrade may request supporting information such as:

  • Invoices
  • Contracts
  • Proposals
  • Emails
  • Support tickets
  • Meeting invitations
  • Proof of employment
  • Other evidence of a genuine business interaction

Evidence is kept private and is not displayed publicly unless permission is provided.

Platform mystery shopping

MSPGrade may independently contact MSPs and MSSPs using realistic business scenarios. Mystery shoppers evaluate the prospective customer experience including responsiveness, communication, discovery, technical understanding, security knowledge, professionalism, transparency, follow-up, and overall value.

Mystery shoppers do not attempt to access systems, bypass security, create fake emergencies, or obtain confidential information.
