Awards are earned — not purchased. MSPGrade awards are based on authenticated review data and published eligibility rules. Advertising, sponsorship, and paid profile services do not affect award eligibility or rankings.

How recipients are selected
- 1. Eligibility. Providers must meet published minimums for score, review count, distinct reviewing businesses, review recency, verification, and profile completeness.
- 2. Ranking. Eligible providers are ranked by their public MSPGrade — the arithmetic average of authenticated reviews used everywhere on the site.
- 3. Tie-breakers. Published tie-breakers apply in order.
- 4. Validation. The list is validated against open moderation, authenticity, and classification issues before the data-freeze date.
- 5. Publication. Final rankings are approved and published with a permanent methodology reference.
The public MSPGrade score is never adjusted for award purposes. Award eligibility and ranking never consider advertising, sponsorship, or paid profile services.
Previous award years will be preserved here as new cycles are published.
