Scoring methodology
Every score follows the same four steps. Nothing is counted until it has been authenticated and moderated.
Each reviewer shows a genuine business relationship, such as an invoice, contract, proposal, support ticket or email. Mystery-shop reviews come from MSPGrade's own documented assessments. Evidence stays private.
Every review is checked before it counts: authenticity, duplicates, conflicts of interest and false claims. Only published reviews affect a score. Providers cannot pay, edit reviews or respond publicly.
The reviewer rates the provider from 0 to 10 in each of the fifteen categories, using the same definitions for every provider.
A review's score is the average of its category ratings multiplied by 10. A provider's score is the average of all its published review scores.
Example
A review averaging 8.4 across the fifteen categories scores 84/100. If a provider has three published reviews scoring 84, 78 and 90, its MSPGrade score is 84/100. Providers with no published reviews are shown as "Not yet rated".
